Rogelio 'Roy' Ramos, age 44, of Cypress, Texas passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at United Memorial Medical Center in Houston.

Roy was born October 7, 1976 in Brownsville, Texas. He attended the University of Texas - Brownsville (now UTRGV) in Brownsville, Texas, following his graduation from Hanna High School in 1997. He spent most of his career working as a driller with Mathers Environmental Drilling, Inc. and  also greatly enjoyed his time working at Minute Maid Park as part of the Guest Services team for the Houston Astros.

In March 2008, Roy and Elizabeth Hardin Simpson  were married in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Elizabeth and Roy attend and serve at Second Baptist Church of Houston, Cypress Campus, where Roy was a camera operator during services in 2016-2017.

Roy is preceded in death by his father, Ruben Vargas Ramos. Survivors include his loving his wife Elizabeth Ramos, children, Mason (8 years old) and Alexis (6 years old), stepson, Stephen Simpson, his mother Adela Ramos and siblings Ruben Ramos Jr, Domingo Ramos, Jesus Ramos & Nancy (Ramos) Schuck and their families, as well as numerous beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
