November 17, 1957 – June 19,2023

Roy Postel went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 19, 2023.

Roy was born on November 17, 1957, in Houston, Texas. Roy was a native Houstonian and lifelong resident of Denver Harbor neighborhood where he grew up and developed loyal lifelong friendships.

In 2017 he developed Shingles and his health was severely compromised, his health gradually declined until he passed.  His unwavering faith which was developed when he served as a volunteer and member of Victory Outreach Ministries helped sustain him as he faced his battle to regain his strength.

His humble, gentle spirit and "witty" sense of humor will always be remembered and greatly missed.

He is predeceased by his son Royce Alan Postel, father Arthur C. Postel Jr., mother Shirley Luna, stepmother Aurora Trevino and the mother of his son Sherryl Ann Penna.

He is survived by his siblings Tony Postel (Carolyn), Anita Flores (Arthur), Melissa Morgan (Randy), step siblings Jaime Ayala and Lorena Miles, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
