Roy Joe Fesler, 77, was born in Lufkin, Texas on November 18, 1942 and passed away in Cypress, Texas on February 26, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents Ellis and Ethel Fesler. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, his devoted sons Craig and his wife Kris and Chad and his wife Anji, grandchildren Michael, Zakk and Gavin, and sister Linda Thornton and husband Don. Roy graduated from Lufkin High School in 1961 and attended Stephen F. Austin for one year. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Banking and Finance from the University of North Texas in 1965. While attending college, Roy would meet and fall in love with Patricia, his  wife of 55 years. After graduating and marrying, Roy and Patricia moved to Houston and have lived in Cypress for over 50 years.  He began working for SpawGlass in 1967 as an accountant and promoted to chief accountant in 1968. In 1979 he was elected as Treasurer of the company. In 1980, Roy went to work for Paisan Construction Company as Treasurer and then as Vice President and part owner. In 2000, Roy would return to work for SpawGlass as Chief Financial Officer and winding down his last few years as the Internal Auditor before retiring in 2013. Roy made many lifelong friends at work and treated everyone like family. His greatest joy and where he received the most pleasure in his life was being surrounded by his family. He loved them with all his heart and so very proud of each one.

A celebration of life will be held at Cypress United Methodist Church, 13403 Cypress N. Houston, Cypress, TX. 77429 on Friday, March 20 at 11:30 am. Join the family for a short visitation after the service.
