Roxanne Marie Vaughn, 58, of Tomball, passed away on September 11, 2016 at home surrounded by loved ones after a 10 year battle against Ovarian Cancer. She was born on April 19, 1958 in Davenport, IA and attended Davenport Central High School and Iowa State University. Roxanne was employed as a Travel Agent with AAA, the Mothers-Day Out program, was a gymnastics coach and a florist at Wildflower Florist. She also received special recognition for her 5+ years of volunteering with the Corral Club for The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
Roxanne truly enjoyed her family, floats in the Hill Country, flip-flops, The Barn, The Holidays, Astros, Houston Texans Football, Fantasy Football, playing softball, cheerleading at Iowa State University, coaching gymnastics and cheerleading, and filling her children's homes with love in creative ways. She also had a love for horses and animals, cooking for her family, crawfish, yard games, loving on her grandchildren, being outdoors, watermelon, planting and growing flowers, sushi, the rodeo, George Strait, campfires, s'mores, and a warm sweater.
Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents Edward Herbert Bartemeyer and Betty Marie Bartemeyer and is survived by her daughter, Brittany Landry and husband Scott; sons, Beau Vaughn and Cody Vaughn and wife, Megan; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Aspen, Trenton, Koozie, Jake, Kadence and Lane; brother, Rick Bartemeyer and wife Linda; nephews, Ryan Bartemeyer and wife, Beth, and Brent Bartemeyer; brother, Randy Bartemeyer and wife Carolyn; niece, Karissa Prichard and husband Kyle; nephew, Brandon Bartemeyer and fiancé Vanessa Masson; brother, Rodd Bartemeyer and wife Judy; niece, Brianna Bartemeyer and nephew, Jared Bartemeyer.
