Rosemarie Frances Hebert was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 11, 1939, and passed away in Cypress, Texas on February 15, 2020 in her home.

She moved to Killeen, Texas in 1975 with her husband and children, and then moved to Houston, Texas in 1997 to be closer to her immediate family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Violet Lockmer.

Rosemarie is survived by her 5 children, Teresa Wheeler, Robin Humphrey, Beth Bashinski, Mike Ankney, and Amber Thompson; grandchildren, Tyler Humphrey, Matthew Humphrey, William Humphrey, Alex Bashinski, Darren Bashinski, Alexandra Ankney Elder, Kelcie Ankney Roe, Allyson Reneau, Brianna Reneau, Cassidy Thompson, Carsyn Thompson, and Erin Thompson; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Elder, August Roe, and Emery Elder; and her 2 dogs, Daisy and Hunny Bunn.

Her children and grandchildren were Rosemarie's passion and delight. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed family birthday parties and holiday gatherings, and often hosted the family Christmas party at her home.

Her favorite pastimes were watching Days of our Lives, Astros baseball, and Texans and Cowboys football games.  She loved to get her hair and nails done.  A "true lady" as described by her ex-husband Richard Hebert.  She could find the best bargain shopping (yes QVC online), and shopped for new home decorations with her best friend Kim Bennick  when her home was remodeled.  She  loved to eat out with Richard, her children and grandchildren at many favorite restaurants.  Mexican food and drinking margaritas with her children were her frequent favorites, especially at Chili's with their lunch specials.  She loved picking up her granddaughter Erin at the bus stop.  The bus ladies said Erin would shout out "Nana's Jeep!".

Her last day was joyful and independent.  She drove her Jeep to get her hair done, had lunch at Taco Bell, and picked up her prescriptions at the grocery store.  We also believe she shopped at Home Goods and purchased a ceramic Easter bunny for her spring house decorations.

Rosemarie requested to be cremated and her family will have a private Celebration of Life event in her honor.  All flowers and memorial items  may be sent to Teresa Wheeler, 15907 Lake Loop Dr., Cypress, Texas 77433.

The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her.  Her life was a complete joy including her last day.

May she Rest In Peace and know that she is so very much loved and will be missed each and everyday.
