Rose Marie Proske was born on September 7,1930 in Moulton, Texas to Anton and Helen Mueller, and passed away on December 10, 2021 in Spring, Texas. Rose lived in Austin and moved to Houston after she married Howard Edwin Proske. They raised four children. Rose was a faithful Catholic, a wonderful cook and enjoyed caring for her flowers.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents Alton and Helen Mueller; husband Howard Edwin Proske; son Howard Wayne "Buddy" Proske; daughter, Peggy Spaeth; brothers Paul, Joe, and Clarence; and sisters Ella, Marie, Lillian and Dollye.

Rose is survived by her daughter Valerie Petrzelka (husband Mark); son Paul Proske (wife Rita); and son-in-law Leo Spaeth; grandchildren, Sheri Kendall, Kelley Bussen, Theresa Spaeth, Bryan Petrzelka, Stephanie Williams, Rebecca Peters, Luke Proske and Isaac Proske, and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and special friends and caregivers at The Village at Gleannloch Farms.

The funeral will be at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (11507 Huffmeister Rd, Houston, TX 77065) on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM. The officiant will be Father Sean Horrigan and the Pallbearers include Paul Proske, Mark Petrzelka, Leo Spaeth, Bryan Petrzelka, Luke Proske and Issac Proske. A reception will follow in the Christ the Redeemer parish hall.

A visitation will be at Klein Funeral Home (1400 W. Main, Tomball, Tx 77375) on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 5-8 PM.
