Rose Lucio Longoria, 75, of Montgomery, Texas passed away August 26, 2023.
Rose was born May 27, 1948, in Harlingen, Texas to the late Alfonso Lucio and Jacinta (Rios) Lucio.
Rose is survived by her loving husband, Armando; son, David Longoria and wife Lori; grandson, Harrison Longoria; brother, Sam Rangel and wife Yolanda, their son and daughter in-law Matt and Daphne; brother and sister in-law, Javier and Connie Longoria, Renee and Sylvia Garcia; and many nieces and nephews.
Rose grew up in San Benito, TX where she marched with the varsity band. She graduated from Sen Benito High School (Home of the fighting Grey Hounds) in 1966. After graduating from high school, Rose went off to college where she met the love of her life. And on May 31, 1969 she married her husband Armando.
The couple enjoyed traveling and spending time with family during their 54 years of marriage.
In 1976, Rose began her career journey with Southwestern Bell/AT&T as an outside planning engineer and retired with AT&T in 2014.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, September 1st, 2023 at 10 AM at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street Tomball, Texas, with REV. Wade Liberator officiating.
