Rose Lorraine Flaten's Obituary
Rose Lorraine Flaten passed away at her home in The Woodlands Texas on December 14, 2022, at age 33. She is survived by her mother Valenda Chancey, and her father Steve Flaten, as well as Aunts and Uncles Neva and Dr. Connie Hutton, Brant Chancey, Todd and Christine Chancey, Diane and John Utsman, Doug and Tina Flaten, and many cousins and friends that loved her.
Rose graduated from The Woodlands High School where she was passionate about being a Woodlands Highstepper through her senior year. After graduation she attended The University of Houston where she was studying to become a pharmacist. Most recently, Rose was excited to be working with Spectrum Catering where she enjoyed supporting The Woodlands Pavilion private club patrons for all events during the concert season. Her customers and co-workers loved her energy and passion, and of course, her ever-present sense of humor. Rose was vibrant, full of life, and looking forward to what the future held. Unfortunately, Rose also struggled with alcohol addiction, and finally lost her battle.
Rose's Memorial Service will be held on January 5, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at The Woodlands Methodist Church, Robb Chapel, located at
2200 Lake Woodlands Dr., The Woodlands, Texas 77380
