ROSALIE KLEIN NELSON passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 5.  She was loving, kind and independent, deeply loved by her family and many friends. Rosalie was born November 30, 1931 in Spring, Texas, the daughter of Alex and Rosa Haude Klein.  She graduated from St, John's, a Missouri-Synod Lutheran school in Winfield, Kansas in 1949.  Rosalie graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1953 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  She was active on campus and was a member of the University of Texas Glee Club and Alpha Phi sorority.  She then went to work for Mobil and then Exxon in Houston, where she enjoyed a successful career.  Shortly thereafter, she married William F. Nelson, a Petroleum Engineer, in Houston. Rosalie was a lifelong Christian and member of the Lutheran Church.  She was active at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Houston for over 50 years.  She had a beautiful voice and sang in the choir for over 25 years.  Her church friends and family and the deep Christian fellowship meant a great deal to her.  She had an extraordinarily generous nature, always ready to help anyone in need. She is preceded in death by her husband William, her parents Alex and Rosa Haude Klein, and her brothers Teddy, Howard and Robert Klein.  Survivors include her son Scott, stepson Robert Nelson and wife Jan;  brothers and sisters Margie Fredrick and husband Dr. Jim Fredrick, Shirley Harrington, Dr. A.B. Klein and wife Elsa, Ida Malina , Milow Klein and wife Ronda ; sister-in-law Ruthie Klein; and many other relatives from a wonderful Klein family.
