Rosa del Carmen Davila was born in May 18,1933 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was the second daughter of Concepcion Limon Ruiz and Raymundo Ruiz. She had an older sister Maria de los Santos Marroquin who was married to Julian Marroquin and a family of 11 children. Pedro Ruiz, Concepcion Marroquin, Cleo Estrada, Ramon Marroquin, Jesse Marroquin,Linda Mayo, Janie Marroquin, Julian Marroquin, Fela Gutierrez, Norma Marroquin -Loera, Aurora Marroquin-Acosta.

Her younger sister is Francisca Trevino who is married to Abelardo Trevino and a family of three children Carmen Trevino,Consuelo Zuniga, and Abelardo Trevino Jr.

Rosa del Carmen Davila was married to Lorenzo Davila who preceded her in death and is survived by 5 children. Lorenzo Davila Jr., Raymundo Davila, Sylvia Flores, Oscar Davila, and Yolanda Martinez. She had 12 grand-children: Anabel Davila,Elodia Judkins,Jessica Alvarez,Rosie Ortiz,Lorenzo Davila III, Michael Flores, Adrian Flores,Bianca Garcia, Linda Davila,Lorena Martinez,Sophia Martinez,Christopher Davila.

She had 14 Great-Grand Children: Nyla Nguyen, Nathan Nguyen, Lestat Judkins,Lythia Judkins, Lilath Judkins, Lucius Judkins, Gabriella Davila, Izabella Davila, Angel Paramo,Athena Paramo, Leonardo Paramo, Alynna Davila, Alejandro Alvarez, Luca Alvarez,
She is survived by son-in-laws Michael Flores and Jose Martinez and daughter- in -laws Mary Davila and Thi Doe. She is also survived by Ofelia Cavazos, the only surviving sibling of her late husband, along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored.

Rosa and Lorenzo Davila lived in California for a few years and then moved to Pharr Tx in 1970, Where they raised their 5 children. Rosa Davila worked hard labor field work helping her husband Lorenzo Davila in the fields in the lower Rio Grande Valley. She worked the fields until they moved to Houston Tx in the late 80's Rosa Davila enjoyed her retirement by helping take care of her grand children and great-grand children who were her life. Rosa Davila started fighting the hard fight of the beginning stages of Alzheimer's for the past 10 years and Dementia for the past year. She past away on March 17,2019 she will be put to rest on Friday March 29,2019 at Klein Cemetary in Magnolia.
