RONALD A. WEIDENHEFT

Ron passed away on July 5, 2024. He was born to Louise and Arthur Weidenheft on April 20, 1937, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, David Patrick and James David and his sisters Pearl and Yvonne.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Martha, sons Stephan (Kim) and Michael John and seven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Throughout his educational including college, Ron was an active participant in many sports including baseball, hockey, and golf.

Ron graduated from The College of St. Thomas (now University of St. Thomas) in St. Paul, MN and began his business career. The first half of his career involved much travel and numerous transfers until he finally moved to Houston, TX in 1976. Ron and his business partner John Tankersley started Western Packaging Inc., a distribution company that was eventually bought out by Bunzl Distribution.

Ron was a long time member of Champions Golf Club and a member of Bentwater C.C. on Lake Conroe where he spent many days playing golf and enjoying his friends. His perfect outing however was the times he was able to tee it up with his sons.
