Ronald Redge Ryan Jr, 81 passed away on 11, January, 2024 peacefully at home. He was born in Galveston on January 22, 1942. Ron, as he was known by his family and friends, served his country for four years and is a Vietnam Veteran, earning a Purple Heart and Good Conduct medal while serving. He dedicated his life to helping those around. As a father he always supported his sons in their interests and spent time with them building memories that will carry forever. His passion for baseball, WWE Wrestling, NASCAR, and mechanics is well known by his grandkids who love to hear his stories and have learned to love sports like their Pee-Paw.

Ron was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Ryan whom he was married to for 42 years, and whom he missed everyday, his parents Ronald Ryan Sr. and Nana Catherine Ryan. He is survived by his sons Scott Rankin Ryan and Shan Lee Ryan and their families, his sister Patricia Taylor, his nephew Michael Taylor, and niece Janet Bird, his many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and even a couple of Great-Great Grandchildren, along with extended family members whom he loved deeply.
