Ronald Stanley Malcolm was born on September 1, 1947, to Stanley and Laura Malcolm in Everett, Massachusetts. He graduated from North Reading High School and joined the United States Air Force in 1967, serving as a Security Policeman during the Vietnam War.

While in the service, Ronald married the love of his life, Sally Ann Saunders, on May 10, 1969, before being stationed overseas. They had two children together, a son and a daughter.

After his military service, Ronald pursued a lifelong career in the oil and gas industry, starting in South Africa. His career took the family to various places, including Port Elizabeth and Cape Town in South Africa, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Newfoundland in Canada, Anchorage in Alaska, Dallas in Texas, and finally Houston, Texas, where they settled.

Ronald was a larger-than-life personality who embraced every moment. He enjoyed golfing, playing soccer, darts, listening to music, water skiing, and camping with his family. He was a devoted grandfather to four grandchildren, who were the apples of his eye. Ronald's passion for cooking, a gift inherited from his wonderful mother, was most evident in the joy he found in preparing meals for his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

A true sports enthusiast, Ronald was a die-hard fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins, rarely missing a game, even while stationed overseas. He lived a beautiful life, filled with love from his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family back in New England.

Ronald is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sally Malcolm, his parents, Laura and Stanley Malcolm, and his brothers, Kenneth, William, John, and Kenneth II. He leaves behind his children, Andy Malcolm (Renee) and Pam Scott (Stephen), and his cherished grandchildren, Dillon, Adam, Andrea, and Grant. He is also survived by his much-loved sister, Bobbie Bedell, and his brothers, Richard Malcolm (Nancy) and Stan Malcolm as well as multiple nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Ronald peacefully passed away in his sleep on July 14, 2024, with his family by his side, listening to Barry Manilow. While we miss him dearly, we find comfort in knowing he has reunited with Sally in heaven, dancing together forever
