Ronald E. Hoffman, age 59, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Eric was born on November 2, 1965, in Tomball, Texas, the son of Milton Curtis Hoffman, Sr. and Margaret Ann Hoffman.

Eric was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He worked as a Senior Foreman at Montgomery County Precinct 2, a Captain at Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department, and as a retired Assistant Fire Chief from Tomball Fire Department, dedicating much of his life to serving the community. Outside of his career, Eric loved riding motorcycles and cherished spending time with his family. He was known for his huge heart, sense of humor, and his unwavering joy in helping others.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Betty Hoffman; his children, Eric and Trevor Hoffman, Larissa Engelking, Amber and Sara Foster; his brother, Milton Curtis Hoffman, Jr.; his sisters, Lucy Lewis and Debbie Robeck; as well as his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Eric was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard Hoffman, and his sisters, Teresa Bullock and Tianna Hughes.

Eric was a firefighter for 37 years and was adored by everyone who crossed his path. He told the best jokes and had a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community he served.
