Ronald David Harris, aged 79, slipped the bonds of earthly life on Aug. 6,2022 with his wife Linda at his side. David was born July 7, 1943 in Paducah, KY to Thelma Louise Shell Harris and Charles Edward "Pete" Harris. He graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School, attended the University of Kentucky, and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi.

A resident of the Houston area since 1969, he was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church, Holland Lodge No. 1 AF&AM, Arabia Shrine, Scottish Rite, and York Rite. He was also a Past Patron of Houston Chapter No. 385 Order of the Eastern Star. He loved to travel and had visited all 50 states and over 75 foreign countries.

David was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Carolyn Sue Harmon. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda, brother-in-law Don Harmon, and cousins Charles & Nancy Beatte, Becky Heeren, Steve & Susan Beatte and their children Karli & Rod Garza, Kayla & Kara Beatte, and many, many friends.

Visitation will be Thursday Aug. 11 from 5-8pm at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM1488 in Magnolia. Services will take place on Friday, Aug. 12 at 10:00am with burial following. A reception following the service will be held at the home of Steve and Susan Beatte, 413 Oyster Reef Court, Montgomery (Pine Island at Woodforest).
