Rohn Scott Larson was born on December 22, 1962, in Galveston, Texas, to John and Beverly "Jane" (Macklin) Larson.  He was baptized on March 24, 1963, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Galveston, Texas, and confirmed on May 27, 1990, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas.

Rohn passed away at the age of 54 on November 2, 2017, in Arlington, Texas.

At age 10, Rohn moved with his family from Galveston to Lubbock, where he graduated from Monterey High School in 1981.  He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University in 1987.  He worked for several different companies through the years in engineering and sales in Houston.

Rohn married Brenda (Chovanec) Larson on February 2, 1991, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas.  Two sons were born to this union, Garrett Mitchell Larson in 1998 and Bryce Duane Larson in 2001.

Rohn's favorite thing to do was spending time with his family.  He loved the outdoors, camping, shooting, fishing, and grilling.  He also loved watching movies with his sons.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Larson of Cypress, sons Garrett Larson of Starkville, Mississippi, and Bryce Larson of Cypress, mother Jane Larson of Lubbock, brothers Randal Larson and wife Elaine of San Antonio and Roy Larson and wife Sharla of Lubbock, father-in-law and mother-in-law Edward and Minnie Chovanec of Columbus, sister-in-law Shannon Miller of Winedale, and brother-in-law Brian Chovanec and wife Kim of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his father John Larson and brother-in-law Glen Miller.
