Roger Allen Richards, 82, died peacefully at his home on December 30, 2021. Roger was born July 31, 1939, in Bonnie, Illinois to Allen and Lula Mae Richards.

He was raised in Bonnie,IL and loved to hunt and fish. Roger was a graduate of Southern Illinois University earning a bachelor's degree in education. He taught 4th and 5th grade in Pueblo, CO, Anchorage, AK and Houston, TX until he changed careers. He worked for Branch Krachey for 31 years until he retired in October of 2016.

In his spare time, he enjoyed oil painting, going to movies, going out to dinner, and enjoyed watching almost every sport on TV.

Roger was preceded in death by his loving parents and his sister Marilyn.

He is survived by his wife Sandra, his children Karen Eisele and husband Rob, Kevin Richards, Kelly Richards and husband Eric Gilbertson. Jeff Traylor and wife Ashley, Cindy Wright and husband Randy. His Brothers Don Richards and Gary Richards and sister in-law Nancy, Sister-in-law Barbara Goodwin, grandchildren Finn, Clay, Cory, Jonathon, Annabelle, Amanda, Ray, Chelsea, Misty and great grandchildren Riley, Nic, Alaina, Mackenzie, Alexa, Nicole, Dustin, Chandler, Carlee, and Carter.
