Roger Keith McKnight was born on October 4, 1958, in London, Kentucky, the son of the late William Lewis McKnight and Opal Witt McKnight.

Roger was an avid fisherman and enjoyed teaching his grandkids all he knew about the sport. He had a passion for cooking and loved to prepare large meals for friends and family. He faithfully served his church, Big House Church in Spring, Texas.

He is survived by three children, Travis McKnight and wife Beth along with his two grandchildren, Hadley and Easton, of Magnolia, Texas; Austin McKnight and wife Ashley of Tomball, Texas; and Kristin McKnight of Cypress, Texas. He is also survived by three siblings, Delford McKnight and wife Gail; Janice George and late husband Jack; and Brenda Burkhart and husband Johnny, all of London, Kentucky. In addition, he is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Roger departed this life surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 23, 2021, being 62 years of age.

Visitation will first be held at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas on Tuesday, July 27 ^th at 6 p.m. with Service following at 7 p.m. Additional Visitation will be held at Bowling Funeral Home in London, Kentucky on Thursday, July 29 ^th at 6 p.m. Service will be held on Friday, July 30 ^th at 11 a.m. with burial following at Old Salem Cemetery in London, Kentucky.
