Roger Allen Bacon was born in Dexter, Texas on January 5, 1938 to the union of George W and Annie Lucille Bacon, and passed away in Montgomery, Texas on April 27, 2024.

He is survived by his wife Kay Bacon; sons Phillip Bacon and his wife Donna, Bart Bacon and his fiancée Celeste Lubenow; sister Judy Whitmire; grandchildren James Roger Bacon and his wife Robin, Sarah Elizabeth Bacon and her husband Andy Holeman, Scott Thomas Bacon, Patrick Allen Bacon; great grandchildren Cali Bacon, Tilly Bacon, and Charli Bacon; brother-in-law Woodrow Barton and his wife Dixie.
