ROGELIO "ROY" SALAZAR GARZA
Born November 18, 1930 in Monterrey, Mexico
Died January 8, 2017 in Houston, Texas
Age 86 years old
Rogelio went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 8. While we know that he is finally at peace and that his struggles are at end, there is still pain and sadness. He has left a legacy and perseverance as a Husband, Father and Grandfather to a great family and to his community.
He was a man of True faith and Love of God, loving and simple, with a passion for his family. Made sure his children were good people; his grandchildren were always in his heart and mostly loved and cherished his precious wife "Reina". He was a very old fashioned good man of class and dignity; he admired nature, the stars, photography, chess and music, which shared and took the time to teach his family and friends throughout his life. He will be deeply missed and remembered.
He is survived by his wife, Angeles Salazar. Children: Mireya Salazar, Lourdes & Robert (deceased) Carney, Roger & Laura Salazar, Linda & Leon Arnao, Gerardo & Cristina Salazar and Mayela Salazar-Ali (deceased). His grandchildren: Jan Paul Duzyurt-Salazar, Catherine and Robert Carney, Angie, Christopher and Michael Salazar, Leon Christian and Andrea Arnao, Victoria and Karla Salazar, Sofia and Bisma Ali-Salazar.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their love and support, especially for all your prayers during this very difficult time in our lives.
