Robie Leal Chapa

Robie Leal Chapa, age 55, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Born on August 4, 1971, in China, Nuevo León, Mexico. He’s been in the mortgage industry for over two decades, and most recently owner of America’s Best Lending.

Robie was a beloved husband built on love, family, friendship, laughter, and unforgettable memories. One the most treasured parts of Robie's life was being a devoted husband and father. Robie was also deeply connected to his siblings and extended family. The love he gave his family will continue to live through them.

To know Robie is to love him. He was unapologetically himself— energetic, and unforgettable. Full of life and love, his laughter would light up a room. His generous heart found joy in serving, helping, and blessing others. With a remarkable ability to spread joy, bring people together, and make them feel as ease. His love was not simply spoken—it was lived; whether through his time, his generosity, his encouragement, or simply his willingness to help. Helping people was not simply something he did—it was part of the way he expressed his love. He touched more lives than he could ever fully know.

The countless stories being shared, the memories being cherished, and the outpouring of love surrounding his family are a testament to the kind of man he was. He had a genuine ability to make people feel loved, safe, valued, and important. His laughter, his friendship, his kindness, and the way he loved others created memories that will continue to live on long after his passing.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ashley Nicole Chapa; his children, Robie Chapa II, Cayla Chapa, Mia Chapa, and Douglas Hill; his parents, Francisco and Esthercilia Chapa; his siblings, Francisco Chapa and Sabi Gutierrez; Earle and Maria Chapa Sr.; Maria and Ethan Gieb; and David and Mercedes Chapa; and his nieces and nephews, Diego Chapa, Andrea Chapa, Earle Chapa Jr., Priscilla Chapa, JR Villarreal, Karolinah Villarreal, Eva Chapa, and Leonardo Chapa.

All who knew and loved Robie are invited to come together to celebrate his life, share memories, and honor the lasting impact he made on so many.
