Roberto Flores Burgos, 69, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2025.

He was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, to the late Jose E. Flores and Maria Elena Centeno de Flores.

Roberto is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Rosa, and their loving children: Sugey and her husband Jaime, Roberto, Melissa and her husband Cory, and Chris and his wife Lauren. He was a proud grandfather to Emilio and Cristian, who brought him endless joy.

He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings — Miguel, Jose, Orlando, Mercedes, Carmen, Victoria, and Sandra of San Salvador, El Salvador; and Blanca of San Pablo, California. Roberto will forever remain in their hearts and be deeply missed every day.

Those who knew Roberto knew a man of immense kindness, patience, and peace. His gentle nature and warm smile left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Family was at the center of his world, and he dedicated his life to providing love, laughter, and support to those he cherished most.

Roberto was passionate about sports and music. He was a loyal fan of the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, and Golden State Warriors. Music was his favorite escape, especially classic rock. Friday afternoons often found him relaxing and enjoying his favorite bands, surrounded by the sounds that brought him joy.

For the past 18 years, Roberto worked at IKEA Houston, where his dedication, strong work ethic, and friendly personality made him a valued part of the AS IS department family. He built countless friendships there that he treasured deeply.

Roberto's presence filled every room with peace and love. His legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
