Robert Lynn Welker, 70, of Tomball, passed away April 26, 2022. Robert was born October 11, 1951, in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Charlie Welker and Katherine (Bates) Welker.
Robert is survived by his children, Laura & Mike Jackson and Robert Bradley Welker & Claudia Coleman, and his grandchildren, Kennedy Jackson, Cooper Jackson and Taylor Welker.
Bobby was an instant friend to anyone he met, and was always available and willing to lend a hand wherever was needed. His smile was infectious, his positive energy always filled a room, and he put family above all else. Even friends of the family knew him as Pa Paw Bobby or B Bob.
Although he was retired, he remained the mayor of "Terral Island", where he will be dearly missed. He was an avid outdoorsman who had a love for hunting and fishing. Bobby was always eager to host friends and provide a meal (usually a steak).
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the home of Randy and Diane Johnson. An additional Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 6:00 at Lake D'Arbonne Country Club in Louisiana.
