Robert Veryl Jackson
1927-2016
Robert Jackson eased quietly from this place on Thursday, September 29th, 2016 at home. He was born February 22, 1927, in Baltimore, MD to Veryl and Loretta Jackson. He married Ruth Hudson Oct 3, 1959.
He retired from Exxon after 35 years and was a founding member of Klein United Methodist Church in Spring. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth; his children, Cheryl (Paul) Logan, and Rob (Denise) Jackson; and grandchildren Justin Logan, Greyson Jackson, Camdyn Jackson and Gage Logan. He is also survived by his brother, Elton (Caren) Jackson and his nieces and nephew.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 8th, 3 pm, at Klein United Methodist Church in Spring. Donations can be made in his memory to the Building Campaign at Klein United Methodist Church, 5920 FM-2920 Road, Spring, Texas 77388.
