Robert Bruce Turk ("Bob, Pete") walked into the arms of Jesus on June 1, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born in 1939 and raised by his parents, Howard and Estelle Turk. He graduated from LaVega High School in 1957 and married the love of his life, Katherine Lathern, in June of 1961. He served in the Army stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, and he attended both Texas A&M and Baylor University. Bob was a devoted follower and servant of Jesus, a faithful husband of 62 years, and his family always came first. He loved reading, studying history, spoiling his grandkids, volunteering at the hospital, spending time in the mountains with his sons, and road trips with the family.

Bob is survived by his wife, Kathy, his son Jeff Turk and wife Paige and their children Taylor, Tanner and Savannah, his son Mike Turk and his wife Amy and their children Sydney and Casey, his brother Ed Davis, and his sisters Martha Cloud and Lois Ann Clay.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17th at 2:00pm at The MET Church on 13000 Jones Rd., Houston, TX 77070.
