Robert Edward Pedrick passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas on June 8, 2026, at the age of 80. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 3, 1946, he was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Florence Pedrick, and his brother, Samuel Pedrick.

A dedicated student and accomplished athlete, Robert played basketball for Drexel University, where he earned his bachelor's degree. He went on to complete his MBA at the University of Delaware. Robert built a distinguished career in metallurgical engineering, a field that became his true professional calling and to which he devoted much of his life. Outside of his career, he was an enthusiastic tennis player and a valued, active member of the Giammalva Racquet Club.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Caroline Pedrick; his sister, Carolyn Oakford; his three children, Dana and her husband Scott Glass, Devon Pedrick and his wife Suzanne, and Drew Pedrick and his wife Courtney. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Gabrielle Glass, Courtney Glass, Jack Pedrick, Kate Pedrick, and Theodor Pedrick; and his great-grandchildren, Axil Welch-Glass and Donald Welch-Glass.

Memorial Service:

A service celebrating Robert's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Lakewood Methodist Church, 11330 Louetta Road, Houston, Texas 77070.
