Robert F. (Rob) Meekins, II, 66, of Houston, Texas, passed away January 15, 2020 at his home.  A funeral service will be held Monday, January 27, 10:00 a.m., at Klein Funeral Home, Champion Forest, Spring, Texas, with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota, Texas.

Robert was born February 22, 1953 to LaVerne and Robert F. Meekins.  He graduated from Waltrip High School in 1971.  Robert worked in insurance for 14 years, owned the business of Carpet Dynamics, and was working for CFI Trucking at the time of his death.  Robert loved traveling, scuba diving, photography, karaoke, and was a Lifetime Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo committeeman.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert F. Meekins, III (Trey) of Houston, Texas;  granddaughters Brianna Meekins of Austin,Texas, Elloise Meekins of Houston, Texas,  great-grandson, Jasper of Austin, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
