Robert McSpadden, son of the late Cecil W. McSpadden and Dorothy Lee Baker Copeland, was born on September 6, 1949, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Darrell Wayne McSpadden, on January 11, 2000.

Robert peacefully passed away at his home in Tomball, Texas, on Thursday, May 14, 2026. He is survived by his former wife, Janet McSpadden; his daughter, Lee Ann Ridgley, and son-in-law, Neil Ridgley; his cherished grandchildren, Preston and Evelyn Ridgley; and his sister, Dian Swanson.

Robert enjoyed a life filled with friendship, fishing, and hunting. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He dedicated his professional career to the oil and gas industry and retired from Hess Corporation in August 2015 as a Drilling Operations Manager.

Robert will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
