Robert N. Mckinney's Obituary
Robert (Bob) N. McKinney, age 75 of Houston passed away August 21, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Retired after 45 years with M & J Valve which changed names several times: Daniel Industries, Emerson Electric & SPX Corporation. He worked over 50 years in the valve business. Bob was a member of the Houston Pipeliner's Association for many years and eventually became president of the association. He also was the treasurer for the Cy Creek Football Booster Club. Bob was a member of Champion Golf Club and a member of Salem Lutheran Church. Favorite pass times included golf, hunting, fishing and going to the ranch in Kurten, TX.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shirley Krahn McKinney; Sons and daughter-in-law, John Robert McKinney and wife Jennifer, Steve R. McKinney; Grandsons, Bryan, Michael and Brendon McKinney. Brother and sister-in-law, John (Buddy) M. McKinney and wife Linda; Niece, Diane Pilcher and husband Stephen; Nephew, John (Trey) McKinney and wife Shannon and their daughter Caroline McKinney. Numerous other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations may be given to a charity of your choice.
