Robert E. Lee IV "Bobby Lee", 63, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 10 ^th , 2023, in Houston, Texas.

Bobby Lee was born June 28, 1959, in Houston, Texas.  He was predeceased by all three of his brothers, Michael, Stephen and Tommy, his father, Robert E. Lee, III, and his cousin Wynne Hunkler.  We would all love to see this reunion of the boys!

What can be said about Bobby Lee?  Well, you either loved him, or you just didn't know him, yet.  Bobby was as far from perfect as a human being can be, but he was, underneath his imperfections, a loyal, warm, and loving man who would help anyone in any way he could.  He brought many lessons into the lives of people who loved him – many lessons we probably never wanted to learn, but which made us stronger and better equipped to deal with this world.

Although he visited many of Texas' finer campuses in different locations throughout the state, Houston remained his home.  And, in his final months, he shared a home with his mother, Nancy, and they were able to enjoy the comfort of each other's company, mutually beneficial skills, and love.

Bobby always loved the outdoors and fishing was one of his favorite past times.  He had an appreciation for things that other people discarded and found a way to make them into someone else's treasure.

Bobby could make you madder than a wet panther, but he never got mad in reply, and he couldn't hold a grudge if you paid him.  He believed in the possibilities that the world offered to other people – he was able to guide others toward their best lives because he believed in them.

He never realized how much he was believed in and loved and often commented that he was only hurting himself.  As he passed from this world, with his mother and daughter by his side, it was proven that this statement could not be farther from the truth.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Nancy Nunnery; son, Joshua Lee and his wife Meghan; daughter, Jennifer Lee and her husband Domenic; grandchildren, Kayla and Ciara Mitchell, Jagger Lee, Jenna and Julie Smith; sister-in-law, Michelle Wright; nephew, Justin Lee and his family; niece, Shaunna Wortley and her family; aunt, Billie Hunkler; cousins, Wes and Sean Hunkler and their families; stepbrother, Troy Michael Nunnery, Sr and his son, Troy Michael, Jr.; and, friends both known and unknown to us.

We wish you joy, Bobby Lee, we wish you peace, but most of all we want you to know that you have taken a piece of our hearts with you on your journey to heaven.  Please stop by every now and then just to let us know that you are still by our sides.
