Robert Michael Lathrop, 64, of Tomball, TX, passed away on September 8th.

Visitation will be 1:30PM Tuesday September 13th at Klein Funeral Homes and Memorial.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday September 13th at Klein Funeral Homes and Memorial (14711 FM1488, Magnolia Texas) with the Reverend George McGavern of Church of Good Shepard Episcopal Church, officiating.   Burial will follow at Klein Memorial Park Tomball (32539 SH 249 Pinehurst Texas). Arrangements are by Klein Funeral Homes and Memorial.

Mike was born at US Airforce Hospital, Williams Airforce Base, Arizona to Bob Lathrop and Mary Lou Lathrop on November 25, 1951.  He graduated from Ardmore High school in Ardmore Oklahoma in 1970.  He married Sherri Talley on May 27th, 1972 in Ardmore, OK. He graduated from Central State University with a BS in Computer Science in 1974.  He worked as a Systems Analyst for over 30 years and retired from Marathon Oil. In his spare time Mike enjoyed flying his airplane, fishing, and playing with grandchildren.

Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Lathrop.

Mike is survived by his wife Sherri; his son, Luke Lathrop and his Spouse Carrie; daughter, Jill Bradshaw and her spouse Jason, son, Adam Lathrop; sisters, Beth Imel, Cindy Lathrop and Kathy Cox; brother, Matt Lathrop; father, Bob Lathrop and his Spouse Barbara; grandchildren, Genesis Widick, Sasha Lathrop, Atticus Lathrop, Lincoln Lathrop, and Elise Bradshaw.
