On Saturday, January 30, 2021 Robert Vincent Kindred, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away at the age of 77.

Robert, also known as Bob or Butch, was born in Richmond, California on February 16, 1943 to Vincent and Mary Kindred.  He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where he attended Ritenour High School and played first base for his high school baseball team and the American Legion Baseball Post 338 Team. He met his wife and best friends in high school and graduated in 1961. He moved to Spring, Texas in 1975.  Bob retired in 2013 after a successful career of 37 years with Smith International, in Houston, TX.

Bob was full of life and had a great love for his family.  He adored his wife, Janet.  They would have celebrated 58 years of marriage this year.  He also adored his son and daughter, their spouses and his 4 grandchildren.  He loved attending his grandson's baseball games, his granddaughter's soccer and volleyball games, and his twin granddaughter's cheer events.   In his younger years he loved playing baseball and tennis.  He also enjoyed travelling with his lifelong friends.   His true passion was playing golf.  He was at the golf course every chance that he had and enjoyed time there with his many dear friends.  He loved his precious dog Scarlet, who was his pride and joy and she completely adored him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Mary Kindred, and his brother Larry Kindred.  He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Kindred and their two children; Scott Kindred and his wife Amy, and  Renee (Kindred) Kremheller and her husband Mike Kremheller; his grandchildren Zach Kindred, Marah Kindred, Reagan Kremheller and Ashlee Kremheller.

Visitation hours are Sunday, February 7th from 2:00-5:00 pm at Champions Forest, Klein Funeral Home

Graveside Service will be held Monday, February 8th at 10:00 am at Klein Memorial Park.
