Robert (Hutch) Hutchinson, 81,  went home to live with our Lord Jesus on September 13, 2021. He is with those we LOVE the Most as we celebrate his life today. Born in Houston, Texas on August 27, 1940 to Mary Louise and Clarence Walton Hutchinson, he grew up as the oldest of three Brothers. All three of them well-bred and allowed to go in the direction of their choosing so long as it included an Education. But Hutch, WHOO...  was a rebel at Heart. He Loved fast cars. His first car was a 1941 Navy Blue Studebaker. He was always getting into trouble with his best friend, Bobby Ligon. They raced all over Houston.  Mom-a-Lou and Dad had their hands full with him. His Dad took him to work one day where he met my mom. She was visiting her aunt. He was helping his dad fix a boat. They were only 12.

Little did they know; they would be reunited in 1957 when he went to work at Weingartens. She worked behind the cigarette counter.  He was a Cashier.  Mom's sister, Alta, came over one day and said "there's this really cute guy over there... you should go meet him." He called her his TEEN ANGEL. Reunited, they married on January 17, 1958. Surprisingly enough, they became Parents on July 30, 1958. It was Twins! Two Girls (Deneice and Debbie).

Robert has been married to Barbara for 63 years. The first years were quite a struggle raising 3 young girls. (Lynda, Deneice and Debbie). Both Hutch and Barbara took night classes. This led him to become a Talented Structural Designer.

Hutch's passion was Jesus Christ above all else.  Hutch and Barbara, got involved with The Houston's First Baptist Church choir.  They participated in Annual Christmas Pageant for many years.  Choir lead to Bob and Barbara becoming active in Mission work.  Those Choir trips allowed them to travel to many foreign countries singing and doing God's work.

Hutch worked at Dow Chemical for 33 years. He used his designing skills to build their home in Sea Isle on Galveston Island.  The family enjoyed 33 years making family memories there.

After retirement Dad Donated his money and time into designing and building a badly needed Christian school. He and Mom agreed it needed to be done.  They named it SEASIDE BAPTIST ACADEMY.

Hutch is preceded in death by Parents, Mary Louise Hutchinson and Clarence Walton Hutchinson along with gifted Nurse and Daughter, Deborah Kay Hutchinson Privett.

Hutch is also survived by wife Barbara Clark Hutchinson, his two Brothers, Professor John Paul Hutchinson, Good Guy David T. Hutchinson. Then there are his four Beautiful, Compassionate Daughters, Deneice (Twin-little controlling sometimes) Hutchinson Crawford, Deborah Kay Hutchinson Privett (Deceased Twin Sister-TCH Nurse), Lynda (Lyndie) Hutchinson Childs, Cyndie Diane Hutchinson Rosenblath.

Along come          the Four talented and intelligent, grandchildren, Courtney Allyse Privett Newcome, Daniel Darran Privett, Maya Sharon Rosenblath and Winston Keith Childs.

Last but not least are the two exceptional great grandchildren Emily Newcome and Justin Newcome.
