Robert Glenn Harris' Obituary
ROBERT GLENN HARRIS, 71 of Houston, TX passed away November 21, 2022. Robert was born on January 26,1951 to Robert and Maxine Harris in Paragould, Arkansas. After graduating from Paragould High School in 1969, he went on to study business and play baseball at Arkansas State University. During college, Robert played summer baseball all throughout cities in Alaska. Robert was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity,
serving as president of the Delta Theta chapter.
While attending Arkansas State University he met Roxann Wood Harris who would become his wife of 47 years. After college, Robert and Roxann moved to Houston where he began his career with Southwestern Bell. As a father, Robert was committed to ensuring his daughter learned everything there was about sports. After decades of working in the telecommunication industry, Robert retired to carry on a life of golf and travel. Robert was a beloved husband, devoted father, and friend to many.
Surviving is his twin sister, Rebecca Brake and her husband Jim, of Bartlett, Tennessee, his daughter Reagan Harris, and his nieces Amanda and Kara. Memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be made to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston.
