Obituary

Robert Myron Goerner, 81 of Spring, Texas went to be with the lord on January 21, 2024. He was born on May 22, 1942, in Houston, Texas to Myron Coit and Olga Goerner. Robert graduated from John H. Reagan High School in 1961.He went on to study at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas.

He was survived by his children Robert Coit (Kay) Goerner, Rodney Myron (Lisa) Goerner, Kelly Renee (Travis) Teykl, Kimberly Ann (Howard) Dennis and Michelle Lee Young.

His beloved grandchildren Kyle (Kennedy) Goerner, Chase (Kasey) Wilkerson, Ashton Goerner, Tanner Goerner, Parker Goerner, Robbie Darnell, Austen Teykl, Emily (Matt) Stevens, Miciah (Kerry) Chase, Tucker Riggs, Amber Young, Johnathon Young and Daniel Robert Young.

Robert has nine great grandchildren. Desmond Chase, Robert Benjamin Chase, Naomi Chase, Whitney Chase, Dakota Chase, Ryleigh Darnell, Grayson Teykl, Rilee Goerner and Carson Goerner.

Robert was survived by many nieces and nephews that he cherished.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Myron Coit and Olga Goerner, his sister and brother-in law Gladys and Woody Haarmeyer, his wife of 42 years Eulalie (Bitsy) Goerner and his wife of 8 years Ruth Nixon Goerner.

Robert loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His family was dear to his heart. He was a natural born caretaker and protector. He selflessly cared for his family in all of our times of need. He loved hunting and enjoyed his many visits to Sanderson. He loved gardening (his tomatoes were the best). He was an excellent carpenter that could fix or build almost anything. Tinkering in the garage was his favorite past time.

Robert lived a fulfilled life. His unconditional love, generosity, strength and kindness were just a few of his attributes. This extended beyond his immediate family. Robert was a devout Christian, who held strong to his convictions. His love for the lord never wavered.

Robert will be truly missed, we would like to honor him on February 17, 2024, at 2:00. This will be held at Klein Memorial Park, 9714 Farm to Market 2920, Tomball, Texas 77375.

Following a Celebration of Life at the Londonderry Clubhouse, 8331 London Way Drive, Spring, Texas 77389.

His masters said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter the joy of your master."
