Robert "Bob" Loren Cline was born February 23, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bob passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas, February 9, 2018. Bob grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and received a BS of Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma A&M. He worked in the oil and gas industry his entire career and enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the world. He served in The National Guard of the United States Army as Master Sargent and fought in the Korean War.
Bob's passions included golf, the stock market and a good scotch. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a huge heart that brought a smile to everyone's face. Bob is survived by his children, Terri MacDonald and husband Robert; Michael Cline and wife Nancy; Kim Dillard and husband Paul; grandchildren Jacq Macdonald Johnston and husband Josh, Gavin MacDonald, Jacob Cline and wife Meghan, Jeffrey Cline, Julianna Cline, Caroline Cline, Travis Dillard and wife Alex and Robbie Dillard; great grandchildren Pierce Johnston, Welles Johnston and Dylan Cline.
Service will take place Saturday, February 17, 2018, 10am at Klein Funeral Home 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, Texas 77379. Officiated by Pastor Terry Tekyl. Honorary pallbearers are Gavin MacDonald, Jacob Cline, Travis Dillard, Jeffery Cline and Robbie Dillard. Private burial will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 at Houston National Cemetery.
Special thank you to all of his wonderful caregivers who showered Bob with love, affection and lots of TLC.
