Robert "Chick" Charron's Obituary
Robert B. "Chick" Charron, 81, of Spring, Texas, passed away December 5, 2017. He was born November 10, 1936, to the late Bertram and Carmilta Charron.
Chick was a loving husband, supportive father, and charismatic grandfather and great-grandfather. Before he became a successful businessman, Chick served for eight years in the military reserves for the United States Navy. He later became a General Agent with John Hancock where he worked from 1973-2000. He also served as President of the General Agents Association there. He was a devoted outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and big game fishing on his sport fishing boat, Blue Magic, with his three sons. Chick was also an avid golfer and long time member of Raveneaux Country Club. He will be remembered by his friends and family as an honest and generous man of great morals and integrity on whom you could always depend upon.
He is survived by his wife, Carole A. Charron, sons, Robert Jeffery Charron and wife Diana, Craig Douglas Charron and wife Diane, and Todd Michael Charron and wife Tanya; grandchildren, Courtney Bearden, Heather Charron, Caitlyn Charron, Chelsea Petrie, Michael Charron, Danielle Charron, Taylor Charron, and Melanie Charron; great grandchildren, Addison and Harper Bearden; brothers, Jerry and wife Ruth Ann, and Ron and wife Mary Ann; sisters, Nancy and husband John, Leta and husband James, and Diane and husband Leonard; and sister-in-law, Sharon.
Including his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James Charron.
A Memorial Services will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Klein Funeral Home, Champion Forest.
