Robert "Bob" Eugene Blue Jr., age 87, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Bob was born on July 22, 1934 on a Naval Base in Panama to Robert Blue Sr. and Teresa Blue. He grew up on various Naval bases but the one he spoke about the most was located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Bob had fond memories of running around at Fenway Park while his favorite baseball team, the Red Soxs, battled it out on the field. He later graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. There, he met lifelong friends joining the Psi Upsilon fraternity. Soon after, he moved to Houston, Texas where he was an accomplished home builder who took great pride in building custom homes.
Bob loved attending his grandson's football and baseball games. He was an avid Badger and Packer fan, and when college football rolled around, he would often need to locate his blood pressure machine. He was an amazing, dedicated father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Teresa Blue; his sister, Elizabeth Blue and his daughter, Noelle Blue.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Ramirez and husband Tony, and his youngest daughter Natalie Kayda. He is also survived by his two grandsons Ethan and Luke Kayda.
