Robert Alan Jackson was born in Lorain, Ohio on November 15, 1952, and passed away in Tomball, Texas on January 18, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Noble Jackson; his brother, David Lee Jackson; and his nephew, Benjamin Jackson.
Robert is survived by his mother, Elizabeth M. Jackson; his siblings, Susan, her husband Johnny Brooks; Ann, her husband Bill Luckey; Richard, his wife Mitzi; sister-in-law, Lindia Jackson, along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Robert's family moved from Houston to Coldspring, TX when he was a teenager. He attended Coldspring High School and left to enlist in the US Army where he was assigned to the Army Security Agency while serving in Okinawa and Vietnam. He also was assigned to Satellite Communications Station and attended Signal School during his service tenure.
Upon completing his term of service in the US Army, he returned to live most of his adult life in Coldspring as a craftsman and handyman.
Robert will be interned at the Oakwood Cemetery in Coldspring, TX.
