R.M. (Robert Melvin) Rudel 86 passed away January 25, 2024. Born January 03, 1938. He married Ramona Allison on August 15, 1958. He graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with an Associate's degree in welding. He is survived by his wife Ramona Allison Rudel, children Richard (Karen) Rudel, Charles (Cheryl) Rudel, Kay (Trace) Parham, Roger (Yessenia) Rudel, 5 grandchildren Rich Rudel, Jennie Rudel, Kevin Rudel, Chrissy Rudel, and Faith Rudel, 1 great grandchild Ava Moore, 2 brothers Allen (Lyn) Rudel and Lee (Barbara) Rudel, and sister in law Vera Rudel. Preceded in death by his parents Edmund Rudel and Blanche (Bogs) Rudel, brother Delbert Rudel, and sister in law Margie Rudel. Retired from Mustang Tractor & Equipment after over 40 years, a welder nicknamed Rudy by his coworkers who could not pronounce his last name Rudel. R.M. Loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed game nights and the community center, where he would play almost any game, but his favorite was dominoes 42. R.M. was a Deacon in the Church of Christ. He was obsessed with his 1/2 acre garden, out of which he fed his family, neighbors, and many of his fellow parishioners. He was a devoted Grandpa, and dearly loved by his Grandchildren and Great Grandchild as well as some of their cousins on the other side of the family.
