Ricky Gene Nelms was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 7, 1959, and passed away at home in Pinehurst, Texas on March 14, 2023.

He is preceded in death by parents, Nelson and Francis Jean Klaus.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Sue Nelms; his daughters, Carolann Jean (CJ) Uttech and husband Noah, and Nikki Nelms-Rogers and husband Eddie; grandchildren, Hudson Uttech, Colton Uttech, Carson Robbins, Blayne Robbins, and Drake Robbins; and fur babies, Harley, Indy, Domino, and Buttercup.
