Richard Carlton Trimm entered into eternal rest on January 1st, 2022 at the age of 67. He was born in San Antonio, TX, to Virginia and Dr. Gilliam Trimm, Jr. Richard was raised in Lake Charles, LA, and settled in the Houston area.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Linda Susan Trimm; children, Michelle LeBlanc (Jeremy), Michelle Atkinson (Woody), and Alison Clancy (James); grandchildren, Emma LeBlanc, Mallory LeBlanc, Braden Atkinson,Canen Atkinson, Chloe Clancy, Brody Clancy, and Carly Clancy; brother, Brad Trimm (Tammy); sisters, Pam DeVall (Greg) Susan Machala (Mark); numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Richard is preceded in death by his parents.

He was a figure larger than life who never met a stranger, had the incredible ability to make everyone feel welcomed, and had a heart of absolute gold. A devoted husband, father, brother, co-worker and friend, Richard's presence made everyone around him better. Passionate about his craft, he enjoyed the people he encountered on a daily basis.

The world is a lesser place without him, and to say that he is gone too soon, would be the understatement of the century.

The family expresses a very sincere sense of gratitude and appreciation for the overwhelming support and prayers from our friends, family and all who adored Papi during his illness..

It has been no surprise how much he meant to so many people, which will be his legacy.  He lived out the golden rule, he treated others as they wanted to be treated.
