Richard Dean Shearer, 87, of Tomball, Texas, passed away August 25th, 2023.  Richard was born September 30th, 1935, in Sherman, Texas to the late Walter Earl Wilcoxen and Juanita (Simpson) Shearer, and later adopted by William Shearer.

Richard is survived by his brother Mark Shearer, brother-in-law, Wayne (Jacquelyn) Kilgo, son, Rick (Victoria) Shearer Jr., daughter, Kaye (John) Collins, daughter, Terri (John) Sexton, daughter Michelle Shearer, step son, Payson (Stacey) Clarke; numerous grandchildren; many great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Including his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his first wife, Jackie Shearer, second wife, Donna Shearer and step son, Eron Clarke.

Richard, was a beloved pastor for over 50 plus years. He started several churches in both Indiana and Arizona, as well as pastoring churches in Arizona, California, Indiana, Missouri, and Texas.  He will be remembered for his dedication to the fulfillment of the Lord's call on his life.
Richard's warm and generous heart touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those he pastored and loved. While we are sad he is not here still with us, we rejoice in the fact that he is present with the Lord.

The family will receive visitors for a viewing on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street Tomball, Texas 77375.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 at 1 PM at Believers Fellowship Baptist Church 21603 Rhodes Road Spring, Texas 77388, with REV. Eddie Smith officiating.  Interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park 2920.
