Mr. Richard Doyle McDonald passed away on September 14, 2020 at Houston NW Hospital Houston, Texas. He will join his mother Juanita Boardwine, "Granny Ethel" Holt, "Granny Pauline" Mayfield/Stone, and "Aunt Bessie" White in Cold Springs Cemetery, Garrison, Texas.

Doyle McDonald was born to Juanita Boardwine and Jesse McDonald on Mother's Day, May 9th, 1937 in Pampa, Texas. He is survived by his wife Betty.

Doyle married the love of his life Betty Ann Stone on December 17, 1963 in Andrews, Texas. They spent 56 years together and raised 6 children; James Leroy McDonald, Michael Gene McDonald, Richard Wayne McDonald , John Thomas McDonald, Charles Edwin McDonald, and Lisa Ann "McDonald" Rollins.

Doyle worked hard to support his family. He worked oil fields, drove trucks, delivered newspapers, what ever it took to make ends meet while still managing to show his family the love, care, or a kick in the rear when needed. Doyle was a simple man, a meat and potatoes kind of guy. He was the happiest at home with his family just simply watching a show, playing a video game, or telling a story of the good "Old days." His smile could light up a darkened room, his quiet could give anyone piece of mind, and his embrace could calm any dark days. Heaven got their angel back and he will be dearly missed.

Doyle is survived by his wife Betty McDonald and 6 kids; James, Michael, Richard, John, Charles and Lisa. He is also survived by 14 grand children and 10 great grand children.
