Richard Lee Leverett, Sr., age 74 of Magnolia, Texas lost his battle with dementia Monday, September 18, 2017.

Richard was born August 19, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Elmer and Virginia Leverett. He graduated from Saint Pius High School, class of 1961. Connie and Richard were married in 1963. Richard had a career with Texas Instruments , Compac Computer Corporation and H.P., retiring in 2007. He enjoyed his grandchildren, working in the yard and fishing. He was always happy and smiling when spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Connie; his children Lanay Gaunce and husband Doug, Richard Leverett and David Leverett; grandchildren Kallie Hlady, Elle Leverett and Colter Leverett; great-grandchild Swayze Hlady; sisters Kathy Bates and husband Marcus and Karin Schurmann and husband Keith, and many other family members and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Friday, September 22, 2017 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1111 South Cherry Street, Tomball, Texas 77375.
