Richard Terrell Goldsby (Rick), 79 years old, of Magnolia, TX, passed away peacefully at home, with his loving wife Sandra by his side, on February 13, 2024.

Rick was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1944 and grew up in Mansfield, Louisiana. He attended Mansfield High School before joining the Air Force and honorably serving his country from 1962-1966.  A proud veteran of the War in Vietnam, Rick went on to establish himself as a successful business leader and mentor in the technology and computer sciences disciplines (including stints with NASA, Macy's, DHL International and Region IV Educational Service Center).  Always the entrepreneur and risk taker, Rick took a break from the corporate world to become a farmer in West Texas before becoming a successful consultant and business owner.

Rick lived his life with a servant heart and a desire to make the most of everyday.  When most start winding down in their sixties, he was playing in flag football leagues, riding bareback broncos in rodeo competitions, sky-diving and even participating as a member of a professional firework crew.  However, most will remember Rick as a man who was always there for others - giving his time and his heart to his, family, friends,  church and his beloved veteran community.  Through his actions, he made us all feel loved and important and this was, perhaps, his greatest talent and legacy.

Rick was preceded in death by parents Robert and Margaret Goldsby, in-laws Harold and Wanda France, sisters Roberta Stancil and Lee Goldsby and brother-in-law, Larry France.  He is survived by his wife Sandra Goldsby, daughters Dee Dee (Michael) White, Miki Price, Shara (Jason) French and Rebecca (John) Clement.  Grandchildren include Kenny and Karen Marshall; Scott and Emily Marshall; Elizabeth and Jerrod Albright; Ariana Price; Chandler and Nathan Dornbush; Brady and Lydia Dubose; Morgan and Troy McDowell; Jay and Sarah French; Bailey and Rachel Dubose; Kayla and Travis Hillman; Kasey French and Jaxon Clement.  Rick also leaves behind five great grandchildren, brother Bill (Chatta) Goldsby and sister-in-law Darlene (Tom) Leslie.

Viewing is Thursday February 15 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home located at 1400 W Main St, Tomball, Texas.  A celebration of life will be held Friday February 16 at 10:30 AM at Real Life Ministries, 1222 W Main St, Tomball, Texas.
