RICHARD TIMOTHY ("DICK") CLEWIS went to join the Lord early on the morning of July 7, 2016. A truly great man, devout Christian and family patriarch, he is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Catherine Bernice Clewis; brother David Clewis and wife Melba; sons David L. Clewis, Richard Mark Clewis and Robert Paul Clewis; nephew David C. Clewis and niece Susan Clewis Meador; grandchildren Ryan Mark Clewis, Eric Paul Clewis, Jesse David Clewis, Kelly Ann Clewis, Dylan Jacob Clewis, Madison Catherine Clewis and Joshua Reid Clewis; and great grandson Liam James Clewis. A long-time member of Norhill Baptist Church, then Lake Highlands Baptist when in Dallas, then an early and long-time member of Champion Forest Baptist Church. At the family's request there will be no graveside service, rather an open visitation at Champion Forest Baptist Church (15555 Stuebner Airlines Road, Houston, TX 77069) on Monday, July 18 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
