Richard F.C. Klug, 84, of Magnolia, TX, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, August 17, 2023, at 7:02 am.  All our hands laid upon him as he took his last breath and left his worldly body to join our Father in heaven.

Richard was born on January 10, 1939, in Watertown WS to Richard C. and Margaret I. (Haney) Klug.  He had a great life growing up in Van Dyne, WS with his sister Shari and their parents.  Richard had a long and successful career in pump sales and Engineering in the Gulf Coast area.  Richard retired from Afton Pumps in 2007, after his first battle with cancer.

Richard loved to go camping and to be surrounded by nature, family, and friends.  His true passion was spending time on the open water.  Fishing, boating, or just relaxing – he was truly the most comfortable and relaxed when he was on the water.  He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.

He was a loving husband, a proud father, a grand-father, and a great-grand-father.  He was survived by his wife, Glenda D. Klug; son and daughter-in law, Richard K. Klug and Angela M. Koliba; and daughter, Michelle A. (Klug) McGehee.  His grand-children, Joshua K. Klug, Amber R. Klug, Zachary D. McGehee, and Dylan T. McGehee.  His great-grand-children, Hailey N. Klug and Nathan J. Klug, and his foster great-granddaughter, Candace G. Anderson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sherry Wimberley, and his daughter Margaret S. (Klug) Lassus.
