Richard Clarence Brown, 88, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away June 21st, 2023.  Richard was born August 11th, 1934, in Ashville, North Carolina to the late Gerthie M. Brown and Buna Vista (Carver) Brown.

After graduating Candler High School in 1953, Richard enlisted in the U.S. Navy in December 1953 through November 1957. He then reenlisted in the U.S. Air Force from December 1957 through March 1975. Richard served for 22 years before retiring. Richard then worked for FMC Corp Wellhead for 21 years before retiring in September 1996.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Carol Sue Brown of Magnolia Texas; daughter, Christy (Jimmy) Baggett of Argyle Texas, daughter, Cindy (Robert) Villarreal of Yorktown Texas; stepdaughter, Sheri (Ernie) Byford of Spring Texas; grandson Michael Bizzell of Odessa Texas, granddaughter, Kreyson Baggett of Argyle Texas, grandson, Robbie (Rena) Villarreal of Yorktown Texas, Matthew (Roseanna) of Yorktown Texas and Matt (Alexis) Byford of Spring Texas; numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews .

Including his grandparents Richard was preceded in death by his father, Gerthie Brown, mother Buna Vista Brown, step mother Mary Penland, son, Charles H. Brown, sister Joyce Ingle, sister Judy Allen, brother, Frank Brown and sister in law Beverly Brown.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, June 25th, 2023, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488 Magnolia, Texas 77355. Graveside Services will be held Monday, June 26th, 2023 at 10:45 at Houston National, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive Houston, Texas 77038, with REV. Mark Lewellen officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be the United States Air Force.
