Richard Alan Berg passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in Pinehurst, Texas, at the age of 80.

Rick was born on June 9, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri to proud parents, Victor and Dorothy Berg,. Shortly after his birth, his family relocated to Houston, TX, where Rick grew up and lived for the majority of his life, with exception of a short time in Georgia.  He is preceded in death by his father Vic Berg, his mother, Dorothy Berg, and his step son Christopher Russell.  He is survived by his wife Debbie Berg,  daughter Lisa Berg, step son Steven Russell, son Michael Berg, grandchildren Caley, Tanner, Emerson, Jackson and Davis, and step grandchildren, Amanda and Elizabeth.

Rick will be remembered always for his kindness and incredible sense of humor.  He spent his life working hard to care for his family and to make sure that everyone else was happy and successful.  He fought Parkinson's disease in his final years with an excellent attitude, never complaining, and always looking for "what had to be done next", asking even up to the end "Can I help?".  His bravery was an inspiration to his family and friends, who will miss him tremendously.

The family has planned a memorial for Rick on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home at 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX, 77375, and invite all those who are able to attend to reconvene after the memorial for a celebration of Rick's life at Rick and Debbie's home in Pinehurst, TX.  Food and beverages will be served. The immediate family will attend his burial directly after the memorial service and join the home celebration afterward. If you choose, instead of flowers, Rick would have loved the thought of donations to the Parkinson's Foundation of your choice.
